At Church on the mountain we are joining a generous God in building a Christ centered, Whistler engaged, creative community. We invite and include all. We look to be inspired and challenged by God, relentlessly pursuing authenticity and sharing Gods love

to impart fresh life / to create anew / give encouragement to, to play in our culture.
Sharing food has always been central to a shared life of community. We want to place worship and communion back where it began: as our provider’s delight in the middle of the shared table.
To God, to others, to the Bible. We believe that God is capable of speaking to us. The deepest longing of a human heart is to be heard. It is an act of serving people to listen to others, learning from people, compassion for people.
It is unmasking the Divine in the everyday and naming the presence of God in people’s lives. We remind ourselves regularly that we are sent to participate in God’s activity in the world both locally and globally.
We give because we have been given so much by a generous God.
We live in a place where there is new creation popping anew all the time, all around us. so we encourage and pursue creativity in all we do.
We believe the Bible is inspired by God and is without error as originally transcribed. It contains His truth for our lives for today and tomorrow.
God, the author of all things, created mankind to have fellowship with Him. Sin entered the world and mankind became separated from God. Jesus Christ gave up His position next to God to come to earth where He lived a sinless life. He voluntarily died on a cross to pay the price for our sins and then rose again thereby allowing us the possibility of a renewed relationship with God. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and mankind. For all those who accept His sacrifice He gives the Holy Spirit as a guide toward personal growth.
The church is part of God’s design to encourage, and support believers while corporately glorifying God through various forms of service and worship.
We welcome you to explore with us the meaning of life and how we can know the God who created all things.
